Maintenance Hand – Jondaryan, QLD

Stockyard Lot Feeders is looking for a new Maintenance Hand to join their team at Kerwee Feedlot, based in Jondaryan on the Darling Down in South-East Queensland.

About the role:

Reporting to the Maintenance and Environmental Manager, you will be:

– Operating various plant & equipment

– Maintaining fixed and mobile plant and equipment

– Undertaking general maintenance activities

– Understanding and maintaining water system infrastructure

– Repairing or problem-solving various aspects of feedlot maintenance

Our ideal candidate:

It is a dynamic, fast-paced environment at Stockyard’s Kerwee Feedlot, so you’ll need exceptional time management skills. You should be a self-starter, able to recognise when a job needs doing and get it done.

– An ability to communicate well with all levels of the team.

– A strong focus on WHS Policy and procedures.

– Some mechanical knowledge is desirable

– Mechanical qualifications would also be attractive; however, we also can create an opportunity for an apprentice.
