Sustainability is not just a goal; it is the heartbeat of our mission, guiding every step we take across our farms and beyond. We don’t just talk about sustainability; we live it. Our commitment is woven into every part of our operation, from the soil underfoot to the communities we engage with. Putting animals at the heart of sustainable farming

At Stockyard, animal welfare is at the heart of everything we do. No matter the weather, our team’s unwavering love for animals drives us every day to care for our cattle. We’re committed to continuously improving our practices to ensure they thrive in a stress-free environment that maximises their comfort. Through responsible and thoughtful management, we strive to maintain a healthy, balanced life for our cattle, paving the way for a more sustainable and ethical future.
01
All Natural Ration
We nourish our animals with care, offering a balanced diet that supports their growth and vitality. It's free from antibiotics and uses non-genetically modified ingredients. Every bite is thoughtfully provided, ensuring our cattle thrive with strength and energy, prepared for each new phase of life.
02
Animal Health
Our approach to animal health is one of prevention and proactive care, because it's worth going the extra mile for our animals so they can grow naturally. We focus on maintaining a low-stress environment, daily welfare checks and creating healthly rumens as these are the key to happy and healthy animals. Through our preconditioning and prevaccination programs, we build resilience and immunity in our cattle, protecting them from common ailments and reducing the need for interventions.
03
Low Stress Handling
No matter the environment or the activity, our teams are experts in low-stress animal management because we want to create an environment where our cattle can move with ease and grace, where natural instincts are honoured, and peace is fostered. In a space free from stress, our animals are free to thrive, nurturing both their physical wellbeing and their natural behaviours.
04
Going the Extra Mile
Rain, hail or shine, 365 days a year our teams are focused on ensuring the best outcomes for our animals. Whether that's engaging with industry experts, performing stringent tests on the quality of our feed and water or the regular maintence of our infrastructure, we push ourselves just a little bit harder to provide our cattle with the very best care. We do it because we love it and because when we tend to our cattle they perform their best.
