Beef Noodle Stir Fry

The perfect mid-week meal to satisfy all the family!
Serves 4
Ingredients
  • 500g Stockyard sirloin, cut into thin strips
  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 brown onion, sliced
  • 200g dried rice noodles (cook these as per packet instructions or alternatively use fresh)
  • 3 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 3 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 cup spring onions, sliced into 2 inch pieces

method
  1. Heat a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add canola & sesame oil to pan and heat for 30 seconds along with the minced garlic and grated ginger until you can smell an aromatic aroma.
  2. Add the beef and stir fry for 1 minute until the beef starts to brown.
  3. Add the onions and stir fry for 1 minute.
  4. Add the cooked or fresh rice noodles and continue to stir fry until the noodles have been completely separated.
  5. Add the oyster sauce and soy sauce, then bean sprouts, stir fry for 1 minute or until noodles are thoroughly heated, tossing to combine.
  6. Lastly add the green onions and stir to combine. Serve and enjoy.
